In addition to volunteering and donations, the railway relies on the support of the community, and local businesses and corporations by way of goods and services gifted in-kind.

These contributions, along with Donations, Membership involvement and our wonderful Volunteers, are so important in helping the society to achieve our successes and advance the various projects and restoration initiatives that allow the railway to continue.

We are very proud to share the rich history of the BCER through programs for local schools and organizations.

Visits can be tailored to fit a particular lesson or unit on some aspect of public rail transportation that is centered on the BCER, or rail safety in general.
