In 2019 the Museum of Surrey unveiled its annual Christmas tree tour. They encouraged 25 businesses and organizations to  decorate Christmas trees in the museum. The Fraser Valley Heritage Railway was one of the first to join this effort and we put up a really nice tree. There was a contest for best tree.

The winner was “the Bone and Biscuit” pet store. Their tree was the best of the litter.

So for 2020 we have entered again with a newly designed tree.

First we sent in our two mischief Elves, Barb and Grace, to decorate the tree. Tacky Christmas sweaters and all. They did the job

We then sent in Royalty to approve the tree. Lady Keystone and Queen Beatrice from the Electric Express . They approved the tree and named it the “Train Tree”.

We invite you to go online and make an appointment for the one hour self-guided tour which will include the trees. Then please give us your vote on site.

Voting for your favourite tree gives you a chance to win a $100 gift card.

If you wish to take a virtual tour you can do so from home and then vote on the MoS Facebook page.

Please don’t miss this opportunity to support us.

Merry Christmas,
Stephen Plant, Guest Experience Director
