Help Restore and Operate Surrey’s Heritage Rail

Our Mission

Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society’s mission is to restore and to operate heritage interurban cars on the original BC Electric Railway Route through Surrey and the Fraser Valley to link heritage tourism destinations.

Our on-line donation partner, CanadaHelps, can receive your donation 24 hours a day. If you prefer to write a cheque we are more than happy to receive it via Canada Post at the address below.

Ways to Donate

Donate Online

You can donate online through our partnership with CanadaHelps.org. You will receive a tax receipt directly from them indicating your donation to FVHRS. Please click on the Donate Now button to help.

We have designated several funds to allow support for specific projects for those who wish to target a donation. All donations over $10 will receive a tax receipt.

To renew your membership or join the FVHRS and also donate please use Online membership. Please note that this is our events page and to purchase please complete your selection(s) and then click on the “Get Tickets” button. (The “days to buy” number is an internal control – please ignore this until we can adjust the page.) The membership fees under CRA rules can not receive a tax receipt, amounts over and above the membership fees will receive a tax receipt.

Donate Securities

For supporters looking for an alternate way to contribute, we now offer an opportunity to easily donate gifts of securities and mutual funds.

Securities can be donated online through our partnership with CanadaHelps.org. You will receive a tax receipt directly from them indicating your donation to FVHRS. Please click on the Donate Securities button to help.
