The Heritage Ride July 2018 – Honourable Mention
As well as enjoying a heritage train ride on a lovely summer’s day in July and hanging out at the charming Cloverdale Train Station with my camera, I was drawn into the “Paint the Train” competition because I felt aligned with the idea of keeping the beauty of the past alive. I wanted to support and record this activity through art to emphasize the need for the preservation and restoration of these historical treasures in our communities.
