The Family Quad Car
A Hands-on Rail Experience
Our volunteers designed and built a family hand-operated rail cart.
The Family Quad Car is geared to ensure vigorous, yet safe, fun for the family.
Operating the hand levers, families direct the cart safely down the tracks. Sometimes it’s hard to stop the laughter!
Quad Car Rides
You can visit our quad car, and try it out for yourself! Quad car rides are included with the Heritage Rail Adventure.

About Our Quad Car
To provide an additional visitor experience, our volunteers, led by Director Terry Nichols, designed and built a four-person hand-operated rail cart. Called “the quad”, the cart is enjoyed by our visitors during the Heritage Rail Adventure.
The quad is geared to ensure it is safe – no matter how vigorously the visitors operate the hand levers – the speed is controlled.
